Job Summary
Develop and implement site-specific safety programs ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend corrective actions. Investigate incidents and near misses to analyze root causes and implement preventative measures. Collaborate with project management and site supervisors to integrate safety requirements into planning, while training employees on protocols and conducting OSHA certification courses. Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training sessions. This full-time salaried role in the El Paso, Texas area requires working outdoors in all weather conditions and involves physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates must hold an OSHA 500/510 certification, a valid driver's license, and at least three years of safety professional experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid UT Driver's license
- Clean driving record
- At least Three (3) years of safety professional experience in a similar field
- OSHA 500/510 certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Quick response time to inquiries
- Passing a pre-employment background check
- Passing a drug screen

- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or related field
