Job Summary
Field-based Project Safety Professional responsible for supporting construction safety standards, company safety requirements, and project-specific safety expectations. Collaborates with project management, field supervision, and crews to identify hazards, coach on safe work planning, and reinforce safety practices. Daily duties include field observations, job-site inspections, incident investigations, toolbox talks, pre-task planning tools (Activity Hazard Analysis), PPE assessments, and communicating safety expectations. Requires OSHA 30 certification and 2+ years of safety experience; strong communication, ability to work in a fast-paced project environment, and willingness to learn are essential.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Construction Certification
- 2+ years of construction safety experience or similar field safety role
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to meet essential functions and physical requirements (as per role)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Practical understanding of construction work and risks
- Commitment to learning and safety culture
- Experience or familiarity with fall protection, confined space, electrical safety, hazard communication, scaffolding, excavation, and incident reporting
