Job Summary
Enforce current policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure appropriate access to the facility while performing safety and security checks inside and surrounding the West Ridge Center. Respond immediately to any issues that arise during these checks to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Complete required patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification within three months of hire and obtain BLS certification through the American Heart Association within six months. This role supports the clinical services and care team at this location by upholding federal, state, and local statutes.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification
- BLS Certification through American Heart Association
- Knowledge to comply with federal, state, and local statutes and regulations
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Interpersonal skills required to interact with individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds
- Ability to speak, read, write and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to discretely handle confidential information
- Good communications skills and clear thinking to communicate with others
- Moderate basic computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security or door screener role
- Previous experience in customer service or public facing role
