Safety Officer

Job Summary
Patrol the property, assist guests with room access, monitor security systems (CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, fire life safety), and lock entrances when required. Conduct daily physical hazard inspections; respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required; assist guests and employees during emergencies; notify appropriate individuals in incidents; defuse disturbances; escort unwelcome persons without disrupting operations; report scenes of accidents/thefts; request outside assistance when needed; complete incident and loss prevention reports; maintain confidentiality of security-related information and documents; conduct investigations and interviews; develop positive working relationships and support team goals; comply with quality assurance expectations and company policies; be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move and lift objects with specified weights; comply with any state licensing/registration requirements; read and verify information; use computers/POS systems; perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.
