Job Summary
Inspect equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure worker safety in Oil & Gas facilities. Replace non-compliant safety belts, ladders, ropes, and tools. Observe crews for lax safety precautions and examine ditches or tunnels to recommend braces preventing cave-ins. Investigate accidents to determine causes and devise preventive measures. Instruct workers on safe equipment use and methods while ensuring compliance with all SHE procedures. Report unsafe acts and conditions. Comply with all safety protocols prior to and during work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School
- Minimum 6 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance jobs related to safety
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skill
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations
- Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
- Strategic management skills
