Job Summary
Develop safety policies and procedures, conduct surveys, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety rules and standards, and investigate incidents. Perform job safety analyses, identify hazards, and recommend corrective action while responding to safety concerns from Team Members and Guests. Implement safety education and training, interpret regulations, and maintain logs of accidents and injuries. Prepare emergency response plans, monitor workers' compensation records, and serve as a liaison between local, state, and federal agencies. Assist in preparing reports and coordinate safety budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of safety and health rules, regulations, and standards
- Knowledge of OSHA general industry rules, inspection, and enforcement
- Knowledge of Tribal Compacts and gaming industry safety trends
- Knowledge of the Incident Command System
- Knowledge of emergency incident support and incident-specific roles
- Knowledge of emergency preparation and response plans
- Knowledge of Alcoholic Beverage Control rules and regulations
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Must have (or be able to obtain) and maintain a valid CPR AED and First Aid certification (provided by CRCR)
- Have Hazmat Awareness or HAZWOPER certification
- Have OSHA 10 or 30-hour training
