Job Summary
Develop and implement hospital safety programs; identify hazards and risks; lead incident investigations and corrective actions; coordinate emergency response and fire safety programs including regular drills; ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, Life Safety Codes, and other regulatory standards; train and educate staff; collaborate with medical staff and leadership; analyze safety data and present findings to facilities leadership; manage environment-of-care initiatives and safety committee activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class C driver’s license
- At least 1 year of experience in safety management or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Joint Commission/CMS standards, Life Safety Codes
- Formal training in safety management, data analysis, and reporting
