Safety Monitor

The Safety Monitor is responsible for controlling site access and maintaining accurate, real-time records of all personnel entering and exiting the project site. This role ensures accountability, safety compliance, and documentation accuracy in alignment with company and customer requirements. Key duties include monitoring and controlling designated entry/exit points, enforcing customer-specific check-in/check-out procedures, preventing unauthorized entry, and maintaining real-time headcount logs. Responsibilities also cover enforcing safety policies, verifying PPE, aiding in emergency evacuations, reporting unsafe behavior or discrepancies, and maintaining communication with supervisors and customer contacts. Requirements include pre-employment drug screen and background check, 21+ age, valid driver's license, reliable on-site attendance, ability to work outdoors in all weather, and strong attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include prior construction or safety experience and Confined Space Certification.
