Job Summary
Safety Monitor Supervisor oversees Safety Monitors at a HELP USA facility. Supervises duty coverage, assists in training, ensures minimum staff coverage, documents issues, and submits administrative reports (Incident Reports, Electronic Patrol Reports). Requires NYS Security Guard license, FDNY F-80 (with 60-day post-start window), FDNY F-02, and a High School diploma or equivalent. Role emphasizes supervising staff, strong interpersonal skills, night/weekend availability, and computer literacy (Microsoft). Compensation is at least the minimum wage with benefits including health insurance, PTO, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- New York State Security Guard License
- FDNY F-80
- FDNY F-02
- High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, or capacity to work with homeless families/individuals and/or disadvantaged populations
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide night and weekend coverage as needed
- Computer literacy with Microsoft applications
- Good writing skills preferred
