Job Summary
Lead Project Safety Manager for electrical and utility construction operations, providing daily direction to multiple field safety technicians and assigning coverage for active work areas. Maintain a highly visible field presence alongside crews to oversee electrical installation, utility infrastructure, and high-risk work while ensuring NFPA 70E and LOTO requirements are followed. Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; review Job Hazard Analyses and permits; and lead incident investigations with root cause analysis. Coordinate safety activities with project management, superintendents, and subcontractors to drive consistent safety performance. Serve as the lead onsite safety professional for a large-scale data center project, balancing hands-on engagement with team leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of construction site safety experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience serving in a Lead Safety Manager, Project Safety Manager, or comparable onsite safety leadership role
- NFPA 70E Training/Certification
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Strong electrical construction safety experience
