Job Summary
Monitor daily field activities for compliance with OSHA, client, and project-specific safety requirements on a large-scale data center construction site. Conduct routine jobsite inspections, audits, and hazard assessments while providing direct oversight for steel erection, fall protection, crane operations, and material handling. Identify hazards, implement corrective measures, and lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field training. Review pre-task plans and job hazard analyses, support incident investigations, and maintain accurate safety documentation. Partner with project leadership, subcontractors, and craft personnel to reinforce safe work practices and drive a proactive safety culture. This full-time, on-site role requires approximately 50-60 hours per week, including Saturdays as needed, for a three-month duration starting July 29, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 511 Certification
- Proven experience supporting steel erection projects
- Construction safety management experience on active commercial or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety requirements
- Experience conducting site audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Working knowledge of fall protection, elevated work, rigging, cranes, and material handling
- Ability to communicate effectively with project leadership and field personnel
- Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-through skills
- Availability to work 50-60 hours per week and Saturdays when required
