Job Summary
Lead Project Safety Manager for electrical and utility construction operations, providing daily direction to field safety technicians and maintaining a visible presence alongside crews. Assign safety coverage, oversee electrical installation and infrastructure activities, and monitor high-risk work to ensure NFPA 70E compliance. Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; review Job Hazard Analyses and permits; coordinate with project management, superintendents, and subcontractors; and lead incident investigations with corrective action implementation. Track safety deficiencies and maintain compliance records while mentoring personnel to reinforce proactive hazard recognition. Work Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with possible Sunday work as project needs require. This role supports a large-scale data center construction project.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of construction site safety experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience serving in a Lead Safety Manager, Project Safety Manager, or comparable onsite safety leadership role
- NFPA 70E Training/Certification
- Current First Aid/CPR Certification
- Strong electrical construction safety experience
