Job Summary
Lead safety and compliance across Delivery and Distribution operations by ensuring adherence to OSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations while partnering with operational leaders to reduce risk. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; analyze safety data and incident trends to implement solutions that improve performance. Strengthen safety culture by delivering training, fostering shared ownership, and driving continuous improvement through cross-functional initiatives and the Safety Steering Committee. Work hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday in-office) with occasional travel. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent experience required.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in safety, compliance, environmental health, risk management, or a related field.
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and other applicable safety regulations, with the ability to apply them in an operational environment.
- Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance activities while using data to identify trends and improve performance.
- The ability to build trusted relationships and influence leaders through strong communication, coaching, and collaboration.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- The ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
- Ability to provide proof of identity and legal work authorization upon hire.
- Please note: This role is hybrid, working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office. We are not currently considering remote candidates.
