Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance, conduct daily safety meetings, and perform daily safety audits and inspections. Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations while managing all subcontractors and contractors. Direct oversight of Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation operations. This full-time role in Manassas, VA requires a minimum of 7 years direct construction safety experience and OSHA 510 or 500 certification. The Safety Manager at HazTek Safety Management supports specific project needs by implementing best practices and enhancing a culture of safety, working within a network of over 275 full-time safety professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in a safety related field
- OSHA 510 and or 500
- CHST or CSP
- Advance knowledge of construction safety standards
