Safety Manager

Lead safety program across multiple sites in Maine and Vermont, travel regularly between Shelburne, VT and New Gloucester, ME to develop, implement, and continuously improve safety protocols; conduct audits and risk assessments; investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions; maintain accurate safety records including training, inspections, and incident reporting; collaborate with Quality Assurance and leadership to align safety with operational and product integrity goals; require strong knowledge of safety regulations, hands-on compliance experience, and professional certifications (CSP, HACCP, or OSHA) preferred; Bachelor’s degree in a related field; on-site, multi-site role with relocation if not local; strong leadership and communication skills to drive a proactive safety culture.
