Job Summary
Safety Manager responsible for enforcing site-specific safety plans and OSHA compliance at an active retrofit within an Amazon distribution center. Lead daily safety inspections, conduct toolbox talks and orientations, oversee subcontractor safety performance, investigate incidents/near-misses, coordinate corrective actions with project leadership, and maintain safety documentation. Must apply strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk management in high-traffic operational environments, and effective coordination with construction and live operations teams. Requires experience in active facilities and ability to enforce safety standards across multiple trades.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field
- BCSP certification
- OSHA 500 certification with 6+ years of relevant experience
