Job Summary
Administer and support the company's safety program across all field and office operations by conducting regular jobsite safety inspections, audits, and observations to identify hazards and ensure compliance with company safety standards. Partner with field leaders, project managers, and supervisors to promote safe work practices, investigate workplace injuries and incidents, and recommend corrective actions. Deliver safety training, new hire orientation, toolbox talks, and required regulatory training while maintaining safety records, certifications, and compliance reporting requirements. Monitor OSHA and customer safety compliance, track safety metrics, and lead the vehicle and driver safety program including accident investigations and fleet training. Coordinate incident documentation, equipment inspections, and contractor qualification processes, and facilitate annual fire and tornado drills. Maintain ISNetworld and Avetta platforms and assist with employee engagement initiatives related to workplace safety.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour certification
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction, industrial, or field-based safety roles
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 standards
- Experience with incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
- Experience managing contractor prequalification platforms such as ISNetworld and Avetta
- Working knowledge of safety programs, including fall protection, confined space, lockout/tagout, respiratory protection, and PPE programs
- Strong communication, coaching, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
