Job Summary
Lead enterprise-wide safety strategy by ensuring compliance with OSHA and federal/state regulations, managing emergency response readiness, and investigating accidents to implement corrective actions. Develop strategic plans, maintain the Health & Safety Manual, and conduct training sessions for employees and contractors. Track safety programs and projects weekly through annually while providing guidance to location teams on safety issues and corrective actions. Partner with Support Center leadership to drive program implementation and communicate progress to stakeholders. This role requires up to 30% travel to locations throughout the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience and deep knowledge of safety standards
- Experience working in mid-to-large-size organizations with geographically dispersed workforce
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), and Certified Safety Manager (CSM), OSHA 30-hour card, or similar certifications
- Proven track record of safety program development, training, investigations and safety performance measurement
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to influence teams without direct supervisory authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- This role requires up to 30% travel to locations throughout the U.S.
