Job Summary
Inspect worksites to ensure hazard-free environments and conduct weekly safety and toolbox meetings. Review Job Hazards Analysis, scaffold plans, and approve critical sub-contractor work requests while verifying tool and equipment safety. Promote safety practices, enforce guidelines, and conduct investigations of accidents and near-misses. Manage permits for scaffolds, cranes, confined spaces, hot works, aerial lifts, energized electrical works, and excavations. Perform pre-construction walk-throughs for site risk analysis and ensure compliance with OSHA and Samsung safety guidelines. Provide safety trainings as necessary. OSHA 510 HR certification preferred. Early morning hours or weekends required. Competitive salary and flexible work schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience
- Work experience in field experience and inspection
- Excellent interpersonal, visual, written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Be able to work early morning hours or on weekends if necessary
- Excellent organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform alone and as a member of project teams
- Ability to speak Korean
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, or related study
- Experience in construction work
- OSHA 510 HR certification
