Job Summary
Oversee daily safety activities for structural steel construction operations, including monitoring steel erection, crane operations, rigging, and material handling; conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; support and enforce fall protection programs and elevated work activities; lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation; deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety training; review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and pre-task plans; maintain safety documentation and compliance records; partner with field supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards; promote a positive safety culture across the project.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction safety experience
- Structural steel construction safety experience
- Experience supporting steel erection activities
- Experience with crane operations, rigging, and fall protection
- OSHA 30 Certification
