Safety Manager

Job Summary
On a construction project, the Safety Manager drives Clark Construction’s safety culture by enforcing safety policies and federal/local standards, developing safe work plans, mentoring safety staff, identifying exposures and corrective actions, coordinating safety programs with field supervision, delivering safety education to jobsite personnel and subcontractors, facilitating OSHA reviews, and actively recruiting top safety talent to join the Clark team. The role requires leading safety initiatives, ensuring hazard mitigation in planning, and aligning the team to deliver a safe workplace, with a hands-on, on-site focus on active job sites and regulatory compliance across projects.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant construction safety experience
- undergraduate degree in safety and health (or related discipline)
- proof of training and experience in crane safety, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment
- strong communication and influence skills across a broad stakeholder group
- OSHA 30 Hour CHST or CSP (preferred)
- First Aid/CPR training (preferred)
