Job Summary
Safety Manager oversees complex safety issues on construction projects, evaluates field tasks, anticipates hazards, coordinates injury management, and develops/train in safety programs at a Competent Person level. Responsibilities include analyzing root causes of incidents, reviewing subcontractor plans, applying Cal/OSHA and related standards (NFPA, ANSI, ASME), developing training content aligned with company policies, and providing policy interpretations and regulatory guidance. Requires 5+ years of safety-related and heavy civil construction experience, CHST certification, and ability to train others; strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills. Location: Pasadena, CA.
