Job Summary
Oversee workplace safety programs, compliance initiatives, and risk management for a short-term contract project. Responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, managing incident response, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies; develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures; conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards; investigate incidents and near-misses and recommend corrective actions; coordinate and deliver safety training for employees and contractors; support emergency preparedness planning, evacuation procedures, and safety drills; maintain safety records and documentation; collaborate with management to drive continuous safety improvements; monitor contractor safety compliance and adherence to site-specific requirements; prepare and present safety performance reports to leadership; bilingual Korean is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Safety Management, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety, or a related field
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
- Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action planning
- OSHA 30 a must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual Korean
- OSHA 30 certification
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, warehouse, construction, or industrial environments
- First Aid/CPR or other safety-related certifications
- Experience leading safety training and employee engagement programs
