Job Summary
Lead safety programs across design-build mechanical construction projects, conduct job site safety evaluations and audits, ensure OSHA compliance, lead PPE programs, and design and deliver safety training for all employees and crews. Partner with project managers and field leadership to identify and mitigate risks before incidents occur; investigate incidents and near-misses; maintain required safety documentation and reporting. Highly visible role with direct access to leadership and the authority to drive a proactive safety culture across commercial/industrial mechanical construction portfolios.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 certification required
- CHST or CSP strongly preferred
- Degree in occupational safety, construction management, or related field preferred (not required)
- 5+ years of construction safety experience — mechanical, industrial, or commercial construction preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety best practices
- Hands-on and field-oriented — comfortable on job sites
