Job Summary
Lead safety and OSHA compliance across multiple states for AB Facility Services, standardizing SOPs, risk reduction, training, and regulatory filings while partnering with Operations, Project Management, and Field Leadership to support commercial facilities, HVAC, electrical, janitorial, and construction activities. Serve as the primary safety contact, develop and maintain safety programs and training, perform routine jobsite inspections and audits, investigate incidents and near-misses, ensure client safety requirements are met, collaborate with union representatives, and travel to client locations and project sites.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Safety Management experience
- Experience in Facilities Services, HVAC, Electrical, Construction, Manufacturing, Building Maintenance, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, compliance programs, incident investigations, and workers' compensation processes
- Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Experience developing SOPs, training programs, and safety initiatives
- OSHA 30 Certification required
- Forklift Certification or Trainer Certification preferred
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel up to 50%
