Job Summary
Safety Manager responsible for overseeing field safety staff, audits, investigations, and day-to-day operations on construction projects. Key duties include managing safety coordinators, ensuring daily Velocity reports, following up on corrective actions, maintaining policy knowledge, guiding project leadership, investigating accidents, maintaining compliance records, coordinating pre-construction safety with senior leadership, monitoring subcontractor safety performance, and performing related duties. Requires strong verbal/written communication, proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint, occasional overnight travel, and the ability to work in varying environments. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Occupational Safety or Health preferred
- Recognized certification as a Safety Professional i.e., CSP, ASP, CHST, STS, CSHO-C
- OSHA 500 & 501 and associated competent person training
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ progressive experience in the management of safety and health processes
- Minimum of 5 years’ management level experience
- Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish preferred
