Job Summary
Safety Manager to develop and implement a comprehensive safety management program, ensure OSHA compliance, and promote JHL’s Culture of Safety. Responsibilities include scheduling and conducting safety training, performing field-based hazard analyses, site visits, pre-project planning, incident investigations (RCAs), and coordinating with insurance on workers’ compensation. Requires managing training calendars, maintaining certification records, and supporting safety subcommittees. Preferred: heavy civil/infrastructure experience, Bachelor’s in Construction Management, OSHA 10/30 Outreach Trainer, CHST or CSP, and bilingual English/Spanish. Travel statewide; field-heavy environment with office and field duties.
