Job Summary
Safety Management Systems Advisor for Compliance / Risk / Regulatory across DOE LPO engagements. Delivers bankable Independent Engineering advisory services that convert discipline-specific engineering, construction, compliance, operating, commercial, and risk findings into lender-ready due diligence, monitoring, certification, and decision-support outputs. Works with cross-functional stakeholders (engineering, finance, legal, construction, operations, environmental, HSE, project controls) to support timely lender and DOE decision-making. Roles include independent engineering reviews, data room analysis, and preparation of defensible reports across the Energy Dominance Financing program, with emphasis on safety governance, hazard controls, and safety culture. Role supports remote project work across the United States with possible on-site meetings; initially identified work site near Washington, DC. Senior Consultant II level, focused on risk/compliance and advisory services for large-scale energy infrastructure projects in oil & gas, power, utilities, and related sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, construction management, business, risk management, finance, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CQA, CIA, ISO Lead Auditor, CHMM, CSP, or PMI-RMP preferred
- 10+ years of relevant engineering, construction, operations, compliance, risk, finance, or energy infrastructure advisory experience
