Job Summary

Lead and coordinate safety investigations for autonomous vehicle software products, guiding investigations from initiation through root-cause analysis and remediation. Collaborate with Engineering, Fleet Operations, Product, Legal, and other teams to identify trends, assess potential safety defects, and determine corrective actions. Conduct field inspections and monitor the effectiveness of field fixes, while communicating safety concerns to leadership and regulatory bodies. Develop and apply analytical methods to support investigations and safety risk management; contribute to safety performance monitoring and regulatory compliance. Require advanced degree with several years of experience (Bachelor's with 4+ years or Master's with 0-3+ years), expertise in EDR analysis and ADS compute logic, and the ability to mentor other engineers. Opportunities include embedded systems cybersecurity incident response knowledge, ownership of regulatory responses (e.g., NHTSA), and a compensation package that may include relocation support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience or Masters Degree and 0-3+ years of experience
