Job Summary
Support safety coordinators on individual topics and assist Shop Leaders in developing training programs and employee engagement initiatives. Review and update safety policies, maintain OSHA records for recordable injuries, and lead incident investigations using root cause methodologies. Compile safety statistics, analyze incident data for trends, and prepare advisory communications. Implement and document required EH&S training while offering innovative solutions to solve difficult issues. Lead 6S Teams to improve programs aligned with company KPIs. This role requires enrollment in a safety program, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and knowledge of applicable regulations. Schedule is full-time with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in a program related to Safety
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledgeable with applicable safety regulations
- Excellent internal and external Customer Service Skills
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
