Job Summary
Analyze soft tissue injury records, equipment interactions, and work environments to identify trends and assess ergonomic risks. Assist in investigating injuries, compile professional reports, and present findings to the Safety department. Provide recommendations for system and facility improvements while liaising with health specialists and designers. Support the Safety team during outages, storms, or emergencies as required. This role involves working in both office and field settings with direct supervision within a geographically dispersed team.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial hygiene or ergonomics in an accredited program
- GPA of 2.5 or above
- Valid driver's license
- Vehicle
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA and other regulatory agency standards
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Reside in the St. Louis Metropolitan area or Missouri, Illinois and Iowa
- Willing to travel
