Job Summary
Develop and implement safety programs, procedures, and training initiatives to enforce safe work practices across assigned regions. Manage permits, reports, and applications for EPA and DOT compliance while maintaining PPE inventory and distribution. Conduct detailed inspections of work areas, equipment, and field locations to document violations and unsafe conditions. Perform job hazard assessments, investigate accidents and near misses, and generate root cause analysis recommendations for corrective actions. Coordinate safety compliance with field supervisors and build behavior-based safety culture. Respond to emergencies as needed, work additional hours or weekends, and travel regularly in Wyoming and North Dakota.
Required Qualifications
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must possess exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to clearly communicate policies and provide training to staff.
- Valid driver's license (Prefer a CDL Class A or Class B, Tanker, Haz-Mat). A regular license with a Medical Card is also acceptable.
- Ability to train Safe land, CPR, H2S (having training certificates)
- Ability to be hands on is essential
- Ability to be on call and respond to emergencies when needed.
- Flexibility to work additional hours/weekends, as required
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a working knowledge of the FMCSA, OSHA
- Prefer a clear understanding of oil and gas regulations, and Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Platform (Drive, Mail, Sheets, Slides, Etc.).
