Job Summary
Develop and execute health and safety policies and plans in collaboration with the Corporate Environment, Health and Safety department. Provide leadership for the implementation of TCCB health and safety programs at the plant level and establish a culture of safety through training and demonstrations. Conduct internal audits, industrial hygiene tests, and hazard evaluations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Manage incident investigations, safety data sheets, and EHS software while maintaining ISO responsibilities. Respond to plant emergencies and accompany employees for work-related medical evaluations. Perform daily board walks and attend continuous education to maintain required certifications. Submit reports by corporate deadlines and recommend improvement measures. This role involves safety-sensitive duties with 15% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of professional Health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment
- Exemplary oral and verbal communication skills
- 5-7 years of progressive leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical and program evaluation skills
- 5-7 years of individual and group training experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in occupational health and safety or related fields
- Current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA highly desirable
