Job Summary
On-site Safety, Health, & Environment Field Specialist supporting Oil & Gas and remediation projects. Provides continuous field-level safety oversight, conducts routine and unscheduled site visits, identifies hazards, supports incident investigations with root-cause analysis, performs PSSR, assists with safety audits and regulatory checks, and reinforces safety expectations with field personnel and subcontractors. Location-based onboarding and day-1 requirements are applicable at an AECOM office, with in-person engagement as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma and 4+ years of experience supporting safety, health, and environment activities in field-based Oil & Gas or remediation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Hands-on experience conducting incident investigations and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR).
- Ability to work independently in dynamic and potentially remote field environments.
