Job Summary
Provide on-the-ground Safety, Health, and Environment oversight for Oil & Gas and remediation projects; conduct routine and unscheduled site visits to monitor compliance with safety policies; act as the on-site safety representative, identifying hazards and working with field teams to implement corrective actions; support incident investigations including root cause analyses and documentation; perform Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) to ensure readiness and compliance; assist with safety audits, inspections, and regulatory checks; communicate safety expectations and reinforce best practices with field personnel and subcontractors; maintain accurate records of site observations, incidents, and safety activities; work independently in dynamic and potentially remote field environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 4+ years of experience in safety, health, and environment activities in field-based Oil & Gas or remediation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
