Job Summary
Safety, Health, & Environment Field Specialist (Technician III) at AECOM focused on on-the-ground safety for Oil & Gas and remediation projects. Responsibilities include acting as on-site safety representative, conducting routine and unscheduled site visits to monitor safety policy compliance, identifying hazards, supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis, performing PSSR to ensure readiness prior to operations, assisting with safety audits and regulatory checks, communicating safety expectations to field personnel and subcontractors, and maintaining records of site observations and safety activities. Preferred qualifications include OSHA 30 or CHST certifications, hands-on incident investigation and PSSR experience, and ability to work independently in dynamic remote field environments. No sponsorship is available now or in the future. All new hires attend in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office. The role requires a high school diploma with extensive field safety experience in Oil & Gas or environmental remediation settings; preferred expansion to 8+ years and related certifications.
Required Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in safety, health, and environment in field-based Oil & Gas or remediation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience/education
