Job Summary
Safety, Health, and Environment Field Specialist provides on-the-ground safety support for Oil & Gas and remediation projects; acts as the on-site safety representative to monitor compliance, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions; conducts routine and unscheduled site visits; supports incident investigations with root-cause analysis and documentation; performs Pre-Startup Safety Reviews to ensure readiness and compliance; assists with safety audits, inspections, and regulatory checks; communicates safety expectations and reinforces best practices with field personnel and subcontractors; maintains accurate records of site observations, incidents, and safety activities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 4+ years of experience in safety, health, and environment in field-based Oil & Gas or remediation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Hands-on incident investigations
- PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Reviews)
- Ability to work independently in dynamic and remote field environments
- Professional certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST or equivalent (preferred)
