Safety, Health, & Environment (SHE) Intern

SHE Intern in Manufacturing: gain hands-on exposure to safety, health, and environmental management within a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include preparing and developing a simulation station for safety workshops and awareness programs; assisting with Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC); supporting Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for the Wastewater Treatment Plant; providing support for legal and regulatory safety/health documentation; reviewing and updating SHE procedures; organizing activities to improve compliance scoring for the Scheduled Waste Store; conducting environmental aspect reviews and impact assessments; supporting ISO 50001 energy management procedures; performing feasibility studies on energy usage and proposing improvements; managing the waste management tracking system; and setting up training simulations. Preferred duration is 6 months or more. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good communication and teamwork, and willingness to be based onsite at allnex Melaka are sought. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Process Safety/PHA, or related disciplines. Equal Opportunity Employer.
