Job Summary
Safety, Health, and Environment Specialist at AECOM to support complex Oil & Gas and Remediation projects. Lead or perform HASP reviews for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation; provide planning support including hazard identification, risk assessments, and control selection; lead or support pre-field kickoff meetings; collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to integrate safety into project execution; monitor local, state, and federal safety regulations; develop and maintain safety documentation and reports; promote proactive safety culture through coaching and continuous improvement; support incident trend analysis and recommend corrective actions to minimize project risk.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 4+ years of relevant experience in safety, health, and environment support for Oil & Gas or remediation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
