Safety & Facilities Manager

Job Summary

Lead workplace safety programs and oversee facility operations by conducting routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across warehouse, production, and office environments. Investigate incidents and near misses to develop corrective actions, while maintaining OSHA logs, training records, and all required compliance documentation. Develop and facilitate safety training for new hires and managers, partner with department leaders to identify hazards, and manage relationships with vendors for maintenance and repairs. Coordinate facility improvements, emergency preparedness drills, and return-to-work efforts, serving as the primary point of contact for safety and facilities concerns.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in workplace safety, EHS, facilities, or a related operational environment, with a strong emphasis on safety
  • Previous experience leading or supervising employees
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, risk assessments, and corrective action planning
  • Experience developing and delivering employee safety training
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence safe work practices at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to balance strategic safety initiatives with hands-on, day-to-day operational needs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting
  • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • CSP, ASP, or other applicable safety certification
