Job Summary
Safety Engineer with extensive experience in developing safety justifications for nuclear operations and plant areas, including leading the development of safety cases for civil and naval nuclear installations; responsible for presenting safety case documentation to regulators, licensees, and safety committees, and for maintaining safety case systems, procedures, and dashboards; candidates should have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (ONR, HSE, DNSR) and PSA approaches, with demonstrated capability in risk assessment, project leadership, and continuous improvement within a regulated nuclear environment. The role supports a Defence & Security consultancy portfolio across sites in the UK, with opportunities for hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

- Chartered (desirable)
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Experience leading safety case development for civil or naval nuclear installations is highly valued
