Job Summary
Execute daily job site safety inspections to address unsafe conditions and work practices, while overseeing safety program implementation at the project level. Support the Director of Safety and Risk Management in enforcing company policies to prevent accidents, lead weekly site safety meetings and subcontractor pre-task planning sessions, and participate in accident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Prepare safety performance metrics and reports, serving as a trusted resource to project teams for delivering safe, high-quality construction work. Maintain certifications in hazardous material remediation, confined space entry, fall protection, electrical safety, and PPE.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety
- 7–10 years of field construction experience at the foreman level or above
- 3–5 years of direct experience in construction safety
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
