Job Summary

Lead project-level new hire and subcontractor safety orientations while performing daily jobsite inspections to document findings and correct unsafe conditions. Support the implementation of site-specific safety plans and Job Hazard Analyses, managing on-site paperwork including logs, inspections, and reports. Assist with injured worker return-to-work processes, weekly tailgate meetings, and incident or near-miss investigations. Serve as a field safety resource for workers, subcontractors, and project teams, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and company policies. Requires OSHA 10 certification, a bachelor's degree in safety or construction management, and experience in a fast-paced construction environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of safety regulations, construction processes, and risk management techniques
  • Familiarity with jobsite safety inspections and documentation processes
  • Ability to learn and utilize safety management software and tools
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office and mobile applications used in field safety
  • Understanding of hazard identification and reporting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a field environment
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to observe safety hazards
  • Demonstrates a commitment to learning and improving safety practices
  • Willingness to take direction and work in a team environment
  • Physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs
  • Ability to use construction personnel hoists
  • Ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction

Desired Qualifications
