Job Summary
Safety Engineer for Concrete Strategies projects in St. Louis area, providing support to the Project Staff and safety team to implement corporate safety and health standards; conducts weekly jobsite safety inspections; develops and administers site orientations for new workers; reviews subcontractor safety analyses and toolbox talks; facilitates regular safety meetings and training to ensure OSHA/compliance; drives near-miss/hazard reporting, safety coaching, and incident investigation; maintains safety records, coordinates fire prevention and evacuation procedures, and stops any unsafe acts; requires strong communication, leadership, and ability to collaborate with project teams to promote a zero-injury culture.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Safety and Health or equivalent
- At least two years of safety experience in building construction
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
