Job Summary
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and hazard analyses to identify risks and recommend corrective actions across job sites in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC. Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring site-specific safety programs aligned with OSHA and ANSI standards while investigating accidents and near-misses to document findings and prevent recurrence. Participate in site orientations, toolbox talks, and safety meetings; review submittals and work plans for hazard mitigation. Monitor leading and lagging indicators, manage case and return-to-work programs, and maintain documentation using Procore and other software. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or safety, OSHA 30-Hour training, and valid driver's license. Relocation may be required for project duration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Safety, Occupational Health, or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to job sites
- Willingness to relocate for the project duration if applicable
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 30-Hour Training or equivalent safety certifications
- BCSP Construction Health and Safety Technician
- 0-2 years of experience in construction/industrial safety or a related field
- Previous internships or entry-level roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Spanish-speaking skills
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Teamwork skills
