Safety Engineer

Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of safety policies and programs to guarantee occupational and personnel safety across premises and projects. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections of facilities, equipment, and projects to identify hazards and ensure compliance with standards. Investigate safety incidents, accidents, and near-misses to develop actionable recommendations and preventive measures. Develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct drills, and train personnel for emergency situations. Continuously evaluate safety programs to enhance the overall safety culture while assisting in developing management procedures aligned with legislative requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields and 12+ years of experience in fire and safety, including 5 years in the Utilities sector.
