Job Summary

Implement and administer safety programs at each worksite, conduct safety audits, and analyze safety data to ensure a safe environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors. Document violations, manage OSHA reporting, and assist with major incident analysis while reviewing safety submittals and monitoring trade partner work plans. Provide safety-related information, evaluate industrial hygiene concerns, and serve as the safety resource by attending or chairing safety meetings. Collaborate with client safety personnel, union representatives, and insurance risk engineers, ensuring maintenance of safety equipment and managing the PPE and safety budget. Build effective relationships across diverse backgrounds and organizational levels while maintaining knowledge of safety standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in occupational safety, health, or related field
  • High school diploma with CHST or STS certification
  • OSHA 30 Hour training
  • Minimum five years of construction experience
  • Previous related internship experience
  • Current driver's license
  • Detail-oriented, able to organize and manage multiple project tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety-related software programs
  • Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate company policies
  • Strong teamwork, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Effective public speaking and presentation skills
  • Effective communication and active listening skills
  • Openness to diverse input and feedback
  • Ability to travel up to 100%
  • Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in occupational safety, health, or related field preferred
  • Previous related internship experience a plus
