Job Summary
As a Travel Safety Engineer, you will lead development and administration of project safety programs, conduct weekly jobsite safety inspections, deliver site orientations for new workers, review subcontractor safety plans, facilitate daily/weekly safety meetings, oversee pre-task safety analyses, promote near-miss/hazard reporting, coach workers on safe methods, and ensure compliance with OSHA/Concrete Strategies standards while rotating across projects to eliminate incidents and support corporate safety goals.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Safety and Health or equivalent
- OSHA 30-hour construction accreditation
- OSHA 500 Outreach Trainer is a plus
- Two (2) years of safety experience or combination of education/multiple years experience in building construction
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Microsoft Office proficiency
