Job Summary
Conduct daily safety coaching and field visits to build trusted relationships with drivers, while auditing Driver Qualification files, MVRs, and HOS/ELD logs to ensure DOT compliance. Monitor driver performance metrics using Samsara to investigate incidents and reduce risk, and manage vehicle records, DVIRs, and multi-state titling through Fleetio. Handle vehicle insurance claims from initial reporting through resolution and serve as the primary contact for Fleetworthy. Requires frequent, regular travel across multi-state territories; full-time role with a competitive salary of $55,000–$65,000 DOE.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DOT compliance, fleet safety, or transportation
- Strong working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
- Hands-on experience with Samsara, Fleetworthy, and Fleetio (or similar telematics/fleet tools)
- Proven experience managing multi-state vehicle titling and registration
- Coaching mindset with strong communication skills and a driver-first approach
- Must be willing/able to travel frequently across company locations
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma/GED required
