Job Summary
Develop and maintain CMC's corporate safety program, establishing annual goals and performance metrics to foster a proactive safety culture. Lead Job Hazard Analysis and Activity Hazard Analysis initiatives while ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations. Direct investigations of incidents and near misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions based on data-driven analytics. Conduct regular project site visits, safety audits, and toolbox talks, partnering with Operations to integrate safety into every phase of project planning and execution. Prepare monthly safety reports for Executive Leadership and represent CMC during owner safety meetings and external committees.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of construction safety experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a safety leadership or management role
- Experience managing safety programs for commercial construction projects
- Demonstrated success leading multi-project or multi-office safety operations
- OSHA 500 or ability to obtain
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction
- CPR / First Aid Certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with public sector, healthcare, education, municipal, and commercial projects preferred
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST)
